Recreation at Bukit Beruang Hill
The morning of Wednesday, May 6th, was painted in the brilliant gold of a clear, sunny sky—a perfect invitation for an adventure. At 7:30 AM, the air was still crisp as we gathered to meet our guide, Eng Kim, a man whose discipline is as steady as the mountain itself. For him, Bukit Beruang Hill is a daily ritual, a 30-minute sprint to the summit that he performs without fail. For us, however, this was the day we would finally test our mettle against the peak. The climb began with a burst of energy, but the hill quickly revealed its true character. The trails were a rugged mosaic of uneven earth, demanding focus with every step.
